Shakespeare Tidbits

Shakespeare has given some truly exotic, extraordinary additions in the film world. Because in the era of silent movies, mere subtitles were all that was used to unfold the complex story. It was obvious to film makers the quality of the concept of films like Romeo & Juliet at the Seaside and The Jewish King Lear. However, they neede to be updated, and modernized...so that they were. But the key fact is that Shakespeare's work remains well known and appreciated even in today's society.   The original opening of the Globe Theatre occured on June 12, 1599. Since then 2 other 'Globes' have been constructed. The most recent being on June 12, 1997.   Amongst all the wonders about Mr. Shakespeare is the questioning of his physical appearance. There is no evidence that his portrait was painted while he was alive. As well, no written description of him has been found thus far. Until new material ia uncovered, we will never be certain on what mr. William Shakespeare looked like.
